When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to buy goods. We will send you an e-mail to confirm that we have received your order.
Once we have checked the price and availability of the goods, we will e-mail you again to confirm that we accept your order, and that a contract has been made between us. We will not take payment from you until we have accepted your order.
In the unlikely event that the goods are no longer available, or that we have made a pricing mistake, we will advise you of this. You will not receive an e-mail confirming acceptance of your order, and there will be no contract between us.
Payment can be made by Credit or Debit cards or Paypal directly from the pages of this site. All payments must be in Pounds Sterling.
Delivery within the UK is charged on all orders as shown within these pages. The delivery costs may vary dependent on promotional offers in place but the amount to be charged will be shown on the final total before the customer can proceed with the order. In proceeding with the order it is deemed that the customer agrees with the quoted delivery costs. Deliveries on Overseas orders are charged at cost. The ordering system does not calculate this charge but customers will be emailed the cost requesting confirmation of acceptance before the order is processed.
You must inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.
You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.
We endeavour to carry stock of all our range but delivery times may vary depending on the goods involved and the time of year. Normal delivery 7-10 days.
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Prices quoted are inclusive of VAT. For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is added. For other countries the VAT will be deducted at the checkout.
Credit card details are encrypted and kept in our secure encrypted gateway. We do not have access to your personal information. These details are not retained once a transaction is complete.
We guarantee your satisfaction. All of our products come with a 30 day no quibble guarantee. We will replace or exchange any goods which are damaged or faulty upon receipt.
We will gladly exchange or refund any unused goods if you return them to us within 28 days of receipt. We can only accept the return of unopened items after your statutory 7 days cooling off period, please return together with a copy of your invoice and a covering letter explaining your requirements. If in doubt please call us for advice. Postage will be charged on all goods returned for exchange. This does not affect your Statutory Rights.
Auchterhouse Country Sports do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details . They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process. You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 7 working days for a full refund excluding the cost of delivery. Do this by contacting us by email or telephone and quoting the order number supplied to you.
You do not have to give any reason for cancellation. However, a brief explanation will help us to improve the service we offer to customers in the future.
Your refund will be paid within 30 days. You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value.
Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.
These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future.
None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder.
